Scene Preview:

As Salamence was about to do one last strike, it suddenly cancelled its attack, as Sebastian was unsure of why until he saw Hunter J decloak infront of him. Despite her standing in the way for Salamence, with his broken arm and being cornered there was nothing Sebastian could do to escape.

Hunter J: Stay back Seb… I´ll keep it back while you prepare it´s cage… I´ll force it back inside there …

Sebastian: It blasted through the damn cage… get away while you still can… I am the one it is after…

Hunter J: No you aren´t… it´s me… it may not fully remember… but I am responsible for it´s past…

Sebastian: You can´t take responsability for whatever things your other self did back then…

Hunter J: I have to… you are my only hope Seb… for you to get through this… I have to let her out…

Sebastian: No ! There are other ways ! We swore to keep her caged… she is more a threat than it is !

Despite Sebastian´s outcry, Hunter J already made up her mind as she injected herself with an ampule, all while Salamence had begun to back away once it noticed faint changes in Hunter J. But Sebastian remained in shock as he saw her do the unthinkable. And saw another ampule being used.

And her last one. With all injected one after another, it was more than enough for her other self to surface, and what Hunter J needed incase she had to stand and fight. Sebastian noticed Salamence cower and submit itself once again. It became silent for a moment before a faint giggle was heard.

Hunter J: I can´t believe you brought me back at such a moment… that suits me almost perfectly…

Sebastian: It listens to you… so talk to it… unless you changed your mind and want me gone now…

Hunter J: As much as you are against me… you helping her is still of great benefit in the near future…

Sebastian: Save your demands for later… right now, calm it down and have it restrained somehow…

Hunter J: No… I know why it is like this… I seen it before… the very last time we saw each other…

Sebastian: You mean the outbreak… what the hell happened… how did you two even cross paths…

Hunter J: Then I guess it is time to let you in on my little dark secret Salamence… you too Sebastian…

I share her memories… and while most of what happened is from her point of view… I layed out the course… a path that would lead to my rising… with her oblivious of it… and somewhat thanks to her…

She needed to show loyalty and commitment… so she participated in an hunt that began it all… a group of hunters had found a small family of potential captives… two Salamence… male and female… guarding their offspring… several eggs… not able to resist such prizes… one night… they all attacked.

The male got killed trying to protect the eggs and its mate… the hunters had no choice but to take it down… the female thought that the eggs were hidden and safe while it tried to save the male… but the eggs were found by her… and taken back to the base, planned to be sold to the highest bidder…

What no one counted on… is the sorrow, rage and vengeance of the female… a mother with no children and an apex predator with its mate dead… it set out to find us… and make us pay. Word spread out. That hunters were found butchered and even their very own Pokemon not spared.

No one wanted the eggs anymore… they feared of encountering the female… even more if they destroyed the eggs and it would find out… and before they knew what to do… a trail led it right here… but be it a sheer miracle of nature… before it arrived… one of the eggs had hatched…

And that turned the entire situation upside down. For the female it had then become a rescue mission, and the trail led it to her… taken responsability and good care of that baby Bagon… and once the female confronted her… she did something that played our dear Salamence right into my grasp…

” I know what happened… I ´m sorry… I wasn´t with those hunters, I only took your eggs to protect them… I kept them safe for as long as I could… but even if you leave with your baby and the other eggs… it will only be a matter of time… before others try to do the same to you like they did…

We both have something in common… lost what we love… changed into something we aren´t… and we have something we want to do anything for protect… so please… stand by me… fight for me… I´ll do the same for you… and I swear we can become strong enough to never let it happen again… ”

How will Jayane´s promise backfire and turn the already apexed Salamence into Hunter J´s deadliest asset ?
